- a two wheeled motor vehicle and includes a motorcycle with a trailer, forecar or sidecar attached. |

- a motor vehicle other than one of the other 4 types (Utes with a gross vehicle mass less than 1.5 tonnes are classified as Cars). |

| 3. | Light Commercial Vehicles are: |
- a two axle rigid truck with a gross vehicle mass more than 1.5 tonnes but less than 4.5 tonnes |

| 4. | Heavy Commercial Vehicles are: |
- a rigid truck with 3 or more axles,
|
|
| 5. | Taxis are: |

Notes:
- 'Motor vehicle' has the meaning given in the Road Safety Act/1986
- 'Truck' means a motor vehicle which has a cab chassis construction and has a gross vehicle mass of more than 1.5 tonnes.
