Protecting the Mullum Mullum Valley are twin 1.6km tunnels. The Government's decision to build Melbourne's first outer suburban tunnels means this area is permanently protected.
The names Melba (inbound) and Mullum Mullum (outbound) were chosen for the tunnels following a public naming competition.
