As part of the EastLink works, a new 1.5km section of the Ringwood Bypass has been built to connect the existing Bypass to Maroondah Highway and EastLink.
The Ringwood Bypass is toll free and has been funded by ConnectEast.
The upgrading of the bypass will provide improved accessibility in and out of Ringwood. It will reduce traffic congestion on Maroondah Highway and will assist in the development of Ringwood as a Transit City.
