A Community Reference Group (CRG) has been formed to ensure effective communication between community, business and special interest groups along the proposed Frankston bypass route.
The Community Reference Group will play an advisory role throughout the EES process. This includes keeping the community informed about progress and providing input into the EES development and investigation process.
The following representatives have been appointed to the CRG:
- Ken McNamara as independent chairperson;
- Community representatives: Noel Ferguson (Frankston), Nev Jones (Moorooduc);
- a representative of The Pines Flora and Fauna Reserve;
- business/tourism representatives from both Frankston and the Peninsula;
- Frankston City Council and the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council; and
- Southern and Eastern Integrated Transport Authority (SEITA).
